I’m thrilled to share this recent family session with you!  I absolutely ADORE family sessions, especially when pinks, neutrals, and muted tones are involved in the wardrobe color palette, and well, Ashley knows my heart!  The Strehl Family is one of the sweetest you will come across.  I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with Ashley on a few projects and have really enjoyed being involved in photographing her small military spouse owned business, Jane & Cope (you can find her Etsy shop HERE).  We chose to photograph their family session in the beautiful desert because its scenery never disappoints and you could probably say they love it here as this is their second tour at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base.

The California Desert is one of my all time favorite places to shoot family sessions, especially the Joshua Tree National Park.

I hope you love the images from this session as much as I have! Enjoy! xo.

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT alexis

At home near the sea. Back porch sittin' listening to the sounds of the low country.  Jeans and a tee. Waffle House. Jersey girl. Kane Brown on repeat.

Born and raised in a small town in New Jersey, I whole heartedly believe in the saying, "you can take the girl out of Jersey, but ya can't take the Jersey out of the girl." I left the Garden State at a mere 18 years old when I joined the Marine Corps and have since lived in a few different states. I have three amazing humans that call me mom and two furry children that would also call me mom if they could talk. I live for the fall, love pasta and although I am trying really hard to quit soda, I can't go a week without a refreshing canned coke. I absolutely love interior design and wish I were better at it but in my spare time I really love making my little golf cottage a home.
